Why won't a bigger pump fix my Kitisuru pressure problem?

Because the issue is usually geometry, not power. On a valley-side plot the water has to be lifted to storage and then distributed, and one pump trying to do both runs permanently against the head. Two stages, each sized for its own job, costs less to run and lasts far longer.

Can a rig reach a valley-side Kitisuru plot?
